Service enquiry information
Singapore Funeral Service is the accountable operator for the Buddhist and Taoist enquiry forms. It collects enquiry information so an authorised service team can review the arrangements and contact the person who made the enquiry.
Information collected
The enquiry form may store the selected funeral tradition, planning stage, timing, wake duration and venue, final arrangement preference, name, phone number and request to be contacted. Taoist enquiries may also store the dialect group and practitioner status. Do not provide NRIC numbers, medical records, certificate numbers, document scans or government documents.
Unfinished enquiries
Enquiry progress is stored in D1 from the first completed stage and mirrored in the same browser. Browser storage includes an opaque credential used to retrieve and update that draft. It is not placed in the URL. A consented enquiry with valid contact details may be sent to the service team after 10 minutes without activity.
Access and use
Personal details and arrangement answers are available through the Cloudflare Access-protected operator inbox and are copied to a private Telegram group restricted to authorised service staff. They are not placed in public URLs, page metadata or analytics.
Telegram copies
Telegram is an external messaging service and holds a separate operational copy of each inactive or submitted enquiry. Message forwarding and saving are restricted where Telegram supports those controls, but authorised group members can still view the details. Messages remain in the private group until a group administrator deletes them.
Retention and deletion
Unfinished and submitted enquiries are retained until an operator deletes them or the contact request is withdrawn. Automatic retention deletion is not active. Deleting the D1 record does not by itself remove an existing Telegram message, so staff must remove those messages before completing a deletion or consent-withdrawal action.
Contact requests and data requests
To withdraw a contact request or request access, correction or deletion, email privacy@lifeplainly.com.
Review status
This operational notice is not legal advice. The retention approach, including Telegram copies, should receive privacy or legal review before broader launch.
